Terms of Use
Summary. Finance Dashboard is a private tool one person built for himself. It is not offered to the public, there is nothing to buy, and there is no service being provided to anyone else. These terms exist so that the app's status is stated publicly and unambiguously.
1. What this is
Finance Dashboard ("the app"), at https://finance.rolo.work, is a personal, non-commercial application operated by Rolando Trevino Alanis ("the operator") for his own use.
2. Who may use it
Only the operator. Access is restricted to a single email address by an allowlist enforced at sign-in; every other account is refused. There is no sign-up, no free tier, no paid tier, and no way to request an account. Attempting to gain access without authorization is not permitted.
3. No service, no fee, no warranty
The app is not a product or a service offered to anyone. Nothing is sold, and no payment is accepted. The app is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It may be changed, broken, or shut off at any time without notice.
4. Not financial advice
The app displays and summarizes the operator's own financial data, including retirement and net-worth projections. Those projections are arithmetic run over assumptions the operator typed in. Nothing in the app is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
5. Accuracy of aggregated data
Account balances, transactions, and holdings are supplied by third parties (Plaid and SimpleFIN Bridge) and may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. The authoritative record of any account is the statement issued by the financial institution that holds it.
6. Third-party terms
Use of the app involves Plaid, SimpleFIN Bridge, Google, and Cloudflare. Each provider's own terms and privacy policies apply to its part of the flow. See Sub-processors.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator accepts no liability for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the app. As the app has one user — the operator himself — this is a statement of fact more than a limitation.
